My first photographs were taken on a brownie camera at an airshow at the age of nine - I can remember the open-mouthed look of bewilderment on my mother's face as she leafed through 36 prints of overcast sky with the occasional off-centre flying dot. Since then I've steered clear of shooting aircraft, but have tried to develop a style that reflects the things I love about life.
